The Society holds nearly 10,000 artifacts including fine art, furnishings, decorative arts, maritime artifacts and other pieces that document life in Lewes.

Research Collections

Archives about 500 linear feet of collections. Photographic resources of nearly 100,000 images.

Programs

The Lewes Historical Society offers exhibitions, trolley tours, walking tours, teacher workshops, docent program, gallery tours, educators guides, lectures, etc. Gallery tours, walking tours and audio tours cost $5 per person. Most lectures and other educational programs are free. Check website for details on specific programs.

A 501-c-3 governed by a nine member Board of Trustees and four officers.
