Description

Our mission is to educate the public on how our society has been influenced and evolved (both educationally and technologically)by having a mail service. We seek to show the power of the written word through exhibits about global expansion, immigration, the Holocaust, and world wars.

History

We were formed in the lower level of the Delphos Ohio Post Office on November 11, 1995. We had seven rooms of displays including stamp collecting (approx 60K stamps on display), pictorial cancellations, transportation, postal oddities, a theatre, the phillatelic aspects of the Holocaust and World Wars.

Artifact Collections

Photographs, pictorial cancellations, stamps and philatelic products, antique postal vehicles, unique mailboxes, evolution of postage, holocaust and WW philatellic items, antique mailboxes, library, historic postal media.
