Description

The Society is the sole preservationist of a complete collection of Dutchess County history from its earliest days to the present. Children, families, seniors, all are welcomed to use our facilities. Focus on local history, genealogy, and collections management for research purposes.

Artifact Collections

Textiles, limited furniture, prints and engravings, postcards, antiquarian books, etc.

Research Collections
Various old Hudson Valley families including many Quaker documents and photographs.
Programs

Children's/school tours of Glebe House, our sister site, are available. Revolutionary era Tory residence was the Glebe with 250 acres at one time.
