Description

Five different buildings of treasures of Dixon County history. Our Research Room is a great help for genealogists, lots of old newspapers from Dixon County. Also we are getting to gether the history and memories of the RRs that run through Dixon County. Our country School house has pictures and records books from country schools in Dixon county.

Artifact Collections

Important things from our earlier times in Dixon county. Our machine shop has a big collections of the older machinery, horse drawn school bus, early looms, early doctor tools, and lots of old pictures. Schoolhouse set up like of old.

Research Collections

The Archives of Lincoln microfilmed the newspapers of Dixon County and then let the Dixon County Historical Society have the newspapers for our research house. 10,000 obituraries on file of Dixon county residents.
