Description

The Falk Gallery of Art serves as a showcase for both work by outside visiting artists and also highlights the work of studio art majors in the ArtCNU program. ArtCNU also manages the Ferguson Hall Gallery also located in the Ferguson Center for the Arts.

Mission

Our galleries are not simply used as an exhibition space, but as a didatic tool for both our studio and art history majors. The Gallery sponsors several visiting artists throughout the academic year who conduct gallery talks, workshops and critiques.

History

The Falk Gallery of Art has been a part of the cultural life of Christopher Newport University for over 20 years. It is managed by the Christopher Newport University Department of Fine Art & Art History.
