Primary responsibility is to students, but the gallery also plays an important cultural role in community. Primarily a teaching gallery. Contemporary art in all media by established and emerging regional and national artists.

General, History, Historic House, Park

Located on an 84-acre river tract of land near the Weber River, the fort symbolizes a period of western history that was the transition from nomadic ways of the Indian tribes and trappers to the first permanent settlers in the Great Basin. Facilities at the fort include picnic areas, a canoeing pond, the replica fort including three cabins and restrooms.

Planetarium

Associated with the Center for Science Education along with the Museum of Natural Science; public and school planetarium shows. Provide educational assistance to school teachers. Public star shows and telescopic observing sessions.

History

A 152-acre nature preserve and education center with 1.5 miles of walking trails. The center boasts two treehouses, two green buildings, a spotting scope, birds of prey, nature exhibits and The Nest gift shop.

Treehouse Children's Museum is a hands-on museum that invites children, families, and schools, to "step into a story."™ Treehouse has a beautiful, new facility with a giant, 30-foot-tall tree at its center. Around the tree, on two levels, are exhibits that share stories from our community, our country, and from around the world. Programming encourages children and adults to learn more, star in a story on stage, develop vocabulary, and appreciate cultures.

The mission of the Weber County Daughters of Utah Pioneers Museum is to preserve and maintain the Weber County Daughters of Utah Pioneers Museum building and the Miles Goodyear Cabin, and to remember the lives and achievements of Utah pioneers, especially those who founded our Weber County communities, by collecting and preserving artifacts, photographs, and histories, and by sharing their stories through exhibits, publications, and programs, thus increasing understanding and appreciation for the pioneer heritage of Weber County (2012)
