To collect, study, preserve and exhibit materials relating to the early days on Anna Maria Island, and to provide information to residents and visitors alike of our unique history.

To encourage future generations in the importance of history through education and scholarship.

To encourage restauration, instead of demolition, of the cottages and bungalows that give the island its special appeal.

To provide an example for residents in the use of native landscaping for a more eco-freindly environment.
