Art

The Hallie Ford Museum of Art is housed in a 27,000 square foot facility. It includes four permanent galleries and two temporary exhibition spaces. Permanent galleries focus on European, Asian, and American art; Native American art; historic and contemporary regional art; and European, Asian, and American works on paper. Temporary exhibitions feature historic and contemporary art.

Experience the history of the Harney County region of southeastern Oregon. Local pioneer rancher and cattle baron Pete French display. Edward Hines Lumber Company display. Pioneer period room displays, wagons, guns, period clothing, archaeological exhibits, diorama of local bird species and wildlife collections.

Clackamas Heritage Partners (dba Historic Oregon City) directs, integrates, and coordinates the development of new and existing heritage-based programs and initiatives within our community. We manage the Oregon State & Mt. Hood Territory Visitor Center at the End of the Oregon Trail and partner with the Oregon City Site Support Committee to preserve the City's historical sites and attractions. The Visitor Center offers travel assistance and brochures as well as local products and special events.
