Speed fiends have been traveling to a largely out-of-the-way barren piece of land in northwest Utah for nearly a century now in their quests to achieve velocities most other people can only dream about, and in all that time there has never been more than a small, now defunct museum to commemorate those pioneers. The ATK Go For Launch Exhibit presents a history of rocketry, the fundamental physics of rocket propulsion , and a look at how ATK recycles reusable solid rocket motors, (RSRMs). The Box Elder Museum is a new natural history museum in Brigham City, Utah. It opened in the King Building in 2009, and moved to a larger space in the Hervin Bunderson Center in 2010.
