Located on the grounds of the historic Linden Place mansion in downtown Bristol, Rhode Island, the Bristol Art Museum has been a venue for fine visual art since it’s inception in 1964. The Bristol Art Museum has exhibited photographs by the renown Ansel Adams, sculpture by Howard Newman and, more recently, cutting edge installation by Thomas Deininger. The museum actively partners with schools and libraries to provide an educational experience for children and adults. Our programs with Rogers Free Library and exhibits at Roger Williams University are a few of the ways the museum promotes an outreach program.
